ORIGIN STORY

How It All Started

Danny grew up in the ’80s and ’90s with schoolteacher parents, gaining early access to computers and video equipment. What began as a hobby quickly became a passion.

In the early 2000’s, he completed a Diploma of Digital Media, developing video production and animation skills that were, at the time, difficult to be employed for. Throughout that decade, he filmed weddings & music videos as a side passion, while working in telecommunications, and an IT/marketing role for an accounting firm.

By 2010, the shift became clear from outbound marketing (print, TV, radio) to inbound marketing, and he returned to study, gaining a Degree in Digital Media (Film & TV/Motion Graphics).

Following graduation, he implemented a successful content marketing strategy for a company in his hometown that influenced significant growth over the next five years.

In late 2016, DC Digital Media was founded. Since then, they have delivered hundreds of projects to a diverse range of clients. Along the way, they celebrated meaningful wins and learned from tough lessons—each one making them better at what they do.

In late 2024, DC Digital Media were inspired to begin a new chapter—one that focuses on specialising, not generalising.

Emerging from the internal review was a new brand with a clear vision.
